This work was commissioned by Colin Duxbury for the Stockport Schools Brass Band as the finale to their programme at the National Youth Brass Band Championships 2000.

The music is well within the scope of most bands and is ideal for use as a finale to any concert. There are ample opportunities to showcase the soloists in the band and the piece builds to a rousing finish.
